Trisha Signed as Gopichand's Heroine for a High Remuneration

For the first time, Gopichand gets A-list heroine to romance with.Trisha has signed on the dotted line to be Gopichand's heroine in his new untitled film which will be directed by Siva of Shouryam fame. Alhough Gopichand acted with beauties like Anushka, she was not that hot when she first acted with him in Laksyam, hence Trisha pairing with him makes special. Interestingly, Gopichand played villain in Trisha’s maiden Telugu film - Varsham. Five years later, both of them are paired together.

The buzz is that, Trisha signed this film for the highest ever salary that she has received so far. She has given bulk dates to the producer and a major portion of the film will be shot in Italy With this Trisha too joins the bandwagon of heroines like Ileana, Nayanthara and Anushka who has crossed the magical eight-digit fee.

When contacted Trisha refused to comment on her salary but says: "I signed this film as it has a great script and my role is very challenging, something that is very interesting".

This untitled film is unique for two reasons. One is that Trisha is romancing with Gopichand for the first time and the other is that after over 20 years, Satyaraj is returning to Telugu films as Gopichand's father.

Bhagawan Das and Pulla Rao will be producing this film.
