Biography:

Saloni Aswani is an Indian actress, who has appeared in the Hindi, Kannada, Tamil and Telugu film industries.

Saloni was born in a Sindhi-speaking family, her dad is a Customs Officer. After completing school, she enrolled in SNDT in Bombay, and after graduating in psychology, she enrolled in Ashok Kumar's Acting School also in Bombay. Throughout her academic career, she had always participated in dramas, especially mimicking Sridevi. She also participated with a theater group 'Kala Sansad'.


Her initial appearances were in commercials from Vaseline, Lifebuoy, Parachute Oil, Moove, Chic shampoo, Three roses tea, Meera soaps, etc.

She first appeared on the tinsel screen in regional languages movies, especially Tamil and Telugu, and her voice was dubbed, although she is now trying to master Southern languages.


Acting Career:

After having made a name for her in the field of modelling, Salloni Asvwani has finaly pursued her long cherished dream of entering Bollywood. Her first plunge was Saawan Kumar Tak's DIL PARDESI HO GAYA, a dramatic love story propagating the message of love and peace, followed by "REHGUZAR" directed by Farukh Masudi, and opposite Jimmy Shergill, is due for release in May,2006.


One more Saawan Kumar's film was announced with Salman Khan and Kapil. Ofcourse, Saawanji's first choice of the only lead girl was SALONI. The film " SAAWAN - THE LOVE SEASON " is released worldover.

She was spotted by south directors & offers from Tamil, Telgu & Kannada pouring. She was approached by Telgu director Surya Kiran (who had made "Satyam"). She signed her first Telgu film "DHANA 51" opposite Sumant produced by Keerti Creation, M.L.Kumar Choudhary.


Her acting and dancing talents became the rage of the industry and even before the verdict of " DHANA 51 ", she was offered Chanti Addala's Film " OKA OORILLO " opposite Tarun and Raja.

" KOKILA " with Raja, Shiv Balaji and Rajeev Kankla was followed with " CHUKALLO CHANDRADU " opposite Siddharth. These two films were released in same week in 2005. One more feather added to the heroine's career. Though Kokila was average, Chukallo Chandradu was well received and became a hit.


She also did a special appearance for the film Boss: I Love You. She is in the song "Nachindey Chesey".In 2007 she debuted in Tamil, starring in the film Madurai Veeran, which was her only release that year. Also in 2008, she had only one release with Budhivanta, her Kannada debut. The 2009 Kannada film Dubai Babu also featured her in a pivotal role, before her next Telugu film Magadheera released, in which she essayed a minor supporting role. She has enacted a lead role in S. S. Rajamouli's latest venture Maryada Ramanna with Sunil as the protagonist.

Allu Arjun Engagement Photos and Videos

Allu Arjun aka Bunny engaged to a Hyderabadi girl named Sneha Reddy today (November 26). It is said that the engagement ceremony would be held at the bride's house.

According to reports, the function will be attended by close relatives and friends of the couple. Allu has said that the ceremony would be a low-key affair as they did not find a suitable venue and engagement date was fixed in a hurry. Sources say that Allu Arjun and Sneha Reddy's wedding will be held in February 2011.


Sneha Reddy is the daughter of educationist and businessman Sankar Reddy. She has completed MS in Computer Science from a reputed US university.

Allu Arjun to tie the Knot

Known more for his reel-life love stories, Young actor Allu Arjun fell in love in real life too. The buzz in the industry circles is that he is getting ready to tie the knot with K. Sneha Reddy, daughter of one KC Shekhar Reddy, who is the chairman of Scient Institute of Technology, Ibrahimpatnam. Allu Arjun and Sneha Reddy have been reportedly seeing each other for a while. Sneha Reddy has done her BTech and is currently doing her MS in the US. Allu Arjun's father Allu Aravind too confirmed the news on Friday saying that talks are on between the two families but it is too early to say anything now. Allu Arjun is currently acting in Badrinath, directed by VV Vinayak.

RGV's Desire of DORA - The Lord with Chiranjeevi

Ramgopal Varma is one man who knows how to make news and keep making it again and again. He now says that he wants to work with Megastar Chiranjeevi. He expressed his desire through his twitter account. Ramu wrote, “I know he won't work with me because of what happened in the past. But I am so dying to do a film called 'Dora`-The Lord with Megastar Chiranjeevi.”

Quite a few years ago Ramu had announced a film with Chiranjeevi starring Urmila Matondkar and Tabu. There were few big names attached to it as well. However, it is not known why the project was shelved. Ramu had mentioned about this incident on his blog, but choose not to state exact reasons over shelving the project.

It was heard that Chiranjeevi was disappointed with RGV. However, Chiranjeevi has made some of his old foes as his friends, and has been trying to prove that Telugu film industry is united. If he likes the script, there should be no way the Mega Star will say a no to the director who worked many times with the likes of Amitabh Bachchan, Mohan Lal etc.

There are also people who say that Ramu’s statement comes at a time when he had to cut few scenes from Rakta Charitra. Ramu can do anything for publicity, and this statement of wanting to work with Chiru could be just a stunt to generate some positive interest in his film!

Best Movies Category:

Sontha Ooru, Baanam and Kalavaramaye Madhilo.
I remember the press release of Sontha Ooru. They declared in the press meet itself that L B Sriram would get award. So, does it deserve best movie? I really doubt its credibility for the first place. And another joke is Kalavaramaye Madhilo!!! Hahaha!!
I feel Baanam to be in the top 3 movies of the last year. Baanam deserves a Nandi. And what about Prayanam, Mahatma and Leader?? I would seriously recommend the jury to watch these 3 movies again. If at all they want to encourage talent, please take some sensible decisions. Its like the jury want to satisfy people giving them some award but not the award they deserve.

Best Director:

The probable contestants can be Rajamouli, Sekhar Kammula, Chaitanya Dantuluri (Baanam). Its an obvious choice to pick Rajamouli for the effort he has put. Jury did not have a choice :P

Best Story Writer:

Again an obvious choice for the jury. As simple as that our movies lack serious stories. If you observe the movies excepting for Mahatma and Baanam no other movie has a proper serious content orientation. Sekhar really did a good job for Leader though there were hiccups at some places.

Best Debut Director:

Horrible!!! Please jury save telugu cinema. Have you watched Inkosaari? Its one of the horrible movies I have seen recently and you gave him best debut director. We had a new director named Vasu Varma who directed Josh which was a pretty decent movie.

Best Actor:

Hahahaha!!! Dasari... hahaha!!! peace out brothers. Hey Ramcharan dude dont worry you got the jury. What about Rana?? Atleast Srikanth??? I seriously think Allu Arjun deserves the award. So many of you might think of Arya 2 as Psycho movie. But the character played by Arjun is not so simple to enact and he did so well. Our industry needs time to accept that kind of movies.

Best Actress:

Teertha. Hmm.. So if a girl does a bold character, you call her a best actress. Wow I dont know this till now. Its ok atleast she did better than our so called heroines. Keep it up.

Sensible Choices:

Supporting Roles, Choreography, Art Direction , Special Effects, Editing, Costumes, Audiography, Make Up, Music Department, Dubbing Department, Screenplay Writers, Actor in negative role, Character Artist, Dialogue writer.

But I seriously bet on Baanam for Dialogues than Sontha ooru. Because sontha ooru is a concept with lengthy emotional dialogues which are very easy for our writers. Where as Baanam has crisp and to the point dialogues.

Best Lyric Writer:

I really dont understand if you write something controversial will you become best lyric writer?? I will abuse in a satirical way every movie member. So will you give me the award?
For the people who dont know Gandhi is, Sirivennela really gave some mind blowing lines. That is what Gandhi is all. He is not some person. He is a personality. I dont think what else jury members want??

Best Cinematography:

Amaravathi!!! Seriously!!!
What about Sarvesh Murari of Prayanam who did an excellent job. What about Senthil of Magadheera??

Best Action:

Come on guys... The last joke of the day... No Peter Heins who injured himself composing for Magadheera and who also composed the famous 100 men fight. I think this is an open joke giving Ram-Laxman and that too for some childish Ride.

And To satisfy everyone, the jury gave out special jury to Ram Charan, Srikanth, Genelia, Raghu Kunche, Raju Maharaju.

Enjoy Guys.... Awards dont define movies. Its the audience who decides what movies are. And we seriously need 1 good movie instead of 100 crap movies.
