Initially the combination of Ileana and Tarun which was for the first time ignited some interest in the movie and the direction of Vijay Bhasker was an added delight to this movie. Tarun and Vijaya Bhasker previously were coupled to give a hit like “Nuvve Kavali”. But this time the entire combination of the trio could not live up to the expectation. Only it can be termed as an average movie with all the masala stuff included in it.
Story

The story is about two youngsters with the character names of Ram or Romeo and Jyothi or Juliet. These two characters are played by Tarun and Ileana. These two youngsters run away from their respective homes located near Vishakapatnam. Tarun runs away from his dwelling as he is forced to work by his father Chandramohan in a paper mill. Ileana on the other hand unable to bear the emotional blackmail of her grandmother Annapurna to marry decides to leave her home. She has a dream to become a top model in the advertising field.Fortunately the hero and the heroine board the same train and land up in the railway station of Vishakapatnam. As expected they two meet each other and since they are penniless, but filled with the energy to fulfill their dreams; start to cheat some innocent people. And to their luck they succeed in piling up a good amount. Soon they get the thought to continue this job and depart to Hyderabad together.
When Tarun and Ileana land in Hyderabad, they fool Dharmavarapu subramanyam who is an owner of a famous electronic showroom and succeed in fetching some goods worth 10 lakhs and make a run with them.
Tarun to full fill Ileana’s dreams compels her to make herself enroll in a Mumbai advertising agency. But the heroine has another plan and wants to stay with Tarun.Meanwhile, they see an AD in a newspaper that a poor girl needs some medical held and needs money for the treatment. This girl happens to be the same one whom the two met in the journey to Hyderabad.
So, Ileana and Tarun decide to help the child and offer 3 lakhs for her treatment initially. But still a deficit of 6 lakhs haunts them.
Then the entry of the villain in the disguise of Pradeep Rawat takes place. He is the actual owner of the electronic showroom which was robbed by Tarun and Ileana. He is after the couple and the couple runs away from him.
Then comes the entry of DCP Yugandhar which is the character played by Jagapathi Babu. And he is the man who is appointed to hunt for the pair of Romeo and Juliet.
The rest of the story is about the chase and blah bah and blah. All ends happily at the end.

Release Date: 11th April, 2008.Kalidasu is what you'd call a formula flick. An orphan who is unofficially adopted by a poor mother-son family so he is ready to lay his life out for them. The movie marks the debut of another ANR grandkid, Sushanth. 'Happy Days' girl Tammana is cast opposite him. Chakri's music is mediocre. The movie itself has some loopholes and has nothing new to offer.
Story:
SushanthPlot Kalidasu is a car-thief in Guntur who looks after his adoptive mother Kanakadurga (Jayasudha) and sends her son Jaydev to college in Hyderabad. In a car they steal, a girl is hidden in the trunk, clearly escaping from something but pretending to be insane. A procession of SUVs come and take the girl from the colony, destructing everything in their way and murdering Kalidasu's friend. Her phone has the photograph of herself and Jaydev together and this takes Kalidasu to Hyderabad to a gamut of land mafia, politicos, student bodies, revenge and obsession.
Story, Screenplay and Direction
The storyline is bankable, but gets repetitive. All the safe mode plots, the rough car-stealing robinhood (he steals cars from the rich to sell it back to them and take care of everyone's needs) the whole colony looks up to, the damsel in distress, the 'punch' before the break-it's all in there. The main leads break into a song suddenly without rhyme or reason and the girl is the eternal damsel in distress.
Suneel is an asset to lift the first half up and the sentiment/revenge motive of the second half works well. The ferociousness of the home minister's cronies is convincing and the whole outsmarting the villain is played all over again. There are a couple of noticeable loopholes though. Archana gets drunk and asks Kalidasu whether she is right or Ajay-how can Ajay, a land-grabbing obsessive dope-head be right?
Lip sync is totally out in many of the scenes, and for the home minister, his whole dialogues have been improvised while dubbing. The music has nothing to offer.

Story:
The film begins with Nageswara Rao (Venu Madhav) who is known as ‘Tablets’ Nageswara Rao for his habit of taking pills for every small thing. He has a granny Rayalaseema Sakunthala (Telangana Sakunthala) who is bent upon getting him married to his relative (Geetha Singh). However, he asks for 100 days time so that he gets the girl of his choice so that she can get him married. He comes to Hyderabad and shares his woes with Muralimohan (Sunil). In this process, he meets Sridevi (Priya Mohan) at the temple and decides to love her. However her father puts a condition that he must earn 25 lakhs to give his daughter. So Nageswara Rao sets off on the streets selling dummy medicines and an ad agency incharge is impressed with his skills and makes him head. In no time, Nageswara Rao earns the money and everything is ready for the marriage when he hears a telephonic conversation of his doctor (Dharmavarapu) and thinks that he is suffering from cancer. He decides to stay away from Sridevi and in this process he gets close to the Mumbai model Jayasudha (Ruthika). When he goes to Mumbai for an ad film, he meet up Hari Bhai (Sri Hari), Jayasudha’s brother. What happens in the end? How does this confusion get cleared, all this forms the rest of the story.

First half of the film is average. Second half is badly handled. The director could not handle the comedy generated by mafia man Srihari well. The plus points of the film are superb mimicry/imitation of Rajnikant, ANR, Bala Krishna and Pawan Kalyan by Venu Madhav. The negative aspects are badly handled screenplay and second half. On a whole, Premabhishekam is a bad copy of â€˜Shadi Se Pehleâ€™. However, running of this film is B and C centers is not ruled out.
