GOPICHAND'S FILM STARTED

Gopichand's new film after Ontari commenced on Friday. Cinematographer K Siva turns director with this project and Anushka, Poonam Kaur are his co-stars. Anand Prasad who made Ammayi Navvite and Manasu Tho is the film's producer and Gopichand says he knew the producer for over six years now and they have been wanting to work together since then.

The actor adds that this is a mass entertainer and will have all kinds of emotions in it. Ajay and Manoj K Jayan, a malayali play villains and the schedule will go on till end of this month. Ali, Dharmavarapu Subramanyam, Sarat Babu, MS Narayana, Tanikella Bharani, Krishna Baghwan star in the film. Mani Sarma provides music and AM Ratnam writes the dialogues. Cinematography is by Vetri.

ANUSHKA IN DUAL ROLE

Heroine Anushka who has been going through a rough patch recently with a string of flops, her growing weight and the incident of the junior artiste drowning into the river seems to be pinning all her hopes on her upcoming film. Incidentally, Anushka will be playing a dual role in the film which has been titled 'Arundhati' and the film is set on the backdrop of black magic directed by Kodi Ramakrishna. One hopes that the black magic works some magic at the box office for Anushka!!!

KANTRI ON 7TH MAY

NTR's Kantri is all set to hit the screens on 7th May. Meher Ramesh is directing the film and Aswini Dutt is producing the film. Hansika and Tanisha (Kajol's sister) are in the female lead roles.
