Director Sai Kiran Adivi has confirmed that he is gearing up to make a sequel to his debut film Vinayakudu, one of the biggest hits of 2008. The sequel has been titled Village lo Vinayakudu (meaning Vinaykudu in a village) and will once again star Krishnudu in the lead role. The director has roped in Tamil actress Saranya Mohan as the female lead.
The original film deals with fat Karthik's (Krishnudu) love for sophisticated Kalpana (Sonia). Karthik is an easygoing guy and Kalpana is a strong-willed modern woman. They both work in the same office and coincidentally stay in the same apartment complex. At first, Kalpana despises Karthik but after several interactions with him, she starts liking him. The film ends with Kalpana and Karthik getting married.
According to sources, the sequel will deal with the problems that arise in Kalpana and Karthik’s married life. The film is set in the backdrop of a village. Produced by Sai Kiran under the banner of Moon Water Entertainments, Villagelo Vinayakudu will start rolling in June at the exotic locations Rajamundry and its surrounding areas.

Talented actress Vega to dub her Next Movie |
She lived for 14 years in Australia, earned a degree in Economics and came to Bangalore IIM on an exchange programme. But it was theatre and the love for acting that made Vega stay on. Her first movie was Saroja, but it’s her second movie that's alerted the movie industry and audiences to the actress in her. She plays a kindergarten teacher in the recently released children’s flick Pasanga, and has everyone applauding her effort. But she had no idea cinema was her calling!
“No way! And South Indian films were never on my radar! But this is a pleasant surprise indeed!” she coos. She surprises us even more by saying she is considering dubbing for her next movie. “I don’t enjoy hearing someone else’s voice to my acting. It is quite disconcerting!”
For Vega, the stage is just as exciting as the big screen, and she has no intentions of giving up theatre. “There is so much energy on stage. You interact with the person in the first row and the one in last row. You connect. You see smiles. That gives you the confidence to go on,” she says.
Besides Tamil, the young actress has a Telugu film and a Hindi film in the offing. “In House full [Telugu], I play an air hostess who loses everything in one night and finds love in the next 24 hours. While Aamras [Hindi] is about the relationship of four girls, of which I am an 18-year-old low on confidence,” she reveals.
