Hello people! Its been a long time since I made a post on Early Tollywood. Anyways I am about to start a series of posts about copied stuff in various language movies dominantly in Telugu movies. I tried to post this stuff in a separate blog but I thought Early Tollywood reaches a wide audience so that this stuff can be reached to larger group of people.
This post is about the copied scenes from Kotha Bangaru Lokam, a 2008 Telugu movie directed by "Srikanth Adivi" and produced by "Dil Raju" starring "Varun Sandesh" and "Swetha Basu".
This particular scene which involved "Rao Ramesh" acting as a lecturer has been greatly inspired from a very renowned hollywood movie "Dead Poets Society" starring "Robin Williams" and directed by "Peter Weir". The following video shows the original scenes from Dead Poets Society from which the scenes are copied to Kotha Bangaru Lokam
The video also gives the link to scenes from Kotha Bangaru Lokam, if you are not able to see the Kotha Bangaru Lokam video just open this video on a new tab on Youtube and click the link there. You will be able to see it. I will try to continue this series as much as I can. Please do give your comments.
