Review:
As you all know that revealing the story spoils the essence of the movie. Revealing the story in a review is the most foolish thing. And our great media is first to reveal the story and they dont even care anyone, they shoot the movie in the theatre and show some scenes in their channels and put them on Youtube for the faaking TRP ratings. And incidentally this movie one of my favorite directors RGV, strikes hard against these people who are merely doing business on these fake news.
So as usually we try to review how the movie is.It's been a long time that we had a smashing movie from RGV. Even though Sarkar was a powerful movie but somehow there was something lacking in the movie. And now there is Rann. Rann is a movie which projects what you think and what you feel. It shows how the news channels crawl for TRP ratings and money.
Highlights :
1. Ram Gopal Varma. Screenplay and dialogues are brilliant.
2. Cinematography and Background music. Absolutely brilliant. Ramu knows where to put the silence and where the sound should come.
3. Amitabh Bachchan and Sudeep stole the show.
4. Paresh Rawel was as usually at his best. Ritesh Deshmukh was nice. The actor in the position of opposite channel's MD seat is fantastic.
5. Neetu Chandra was sexy and decent for the role. I watched Gul Panag for the first time on the screen. Her energy was nice but there was no scope for much of action for her.
6. Rajpal Yadav and Others were good. No one spoiled the movie.
View on Movie:
A great movie to watch if you seriously have social consciousness and what is being shown by media now-a-days. The movie hit the bull's eye on the concept and I hope it would be a commercial success too. After all everyone hates these channels who crawl for TRPs.
Dont Miss the Movie if you are a big fan of Ramu and also if you are not.

Review:
I have been very eagerly waiting for the release of this movie as I watched the Tamil version "Nadodigal" already and liked it very much. Frankly I was very eager to watch Naresh, as the actor played in the tamil version itself did very well and if you see the movie in Tamil you will just imagine Naresh if you want to remake the movie in Telugu. As I thought, Naresh played the same role. Apparently I happened to see the review before I went to the movie and saw a bad rating by many sites and thought that director might have mishandled the movie in telugu. But no, its a blunder and laughed at the ignorance of our many website owners' taste (need not to say the names, now a days they are becoming very busy in distributing movies abroad). I really look forward to see some good reviews from them.
Coming to the movie review, I dont want to tell the story which damages the very essence of seeing the movie in theaters. But making a few points involving the highlights of the movie can bring some enthusiasm. And some hiccups too.
Highlights of the movie:
1) Naresh. Naresh. Naresh. Sambho Siva Sambho Siva Siva Sambho. If you remember anything the most after watching the movie its the background score and Naresh. Shankar Mahadevan takes you to the top of Mt.Everest. Naresh has become a classic hero. He creates the impression that if not Naresh Who can?
2) Samuthirakarani (Director): No doubt he can be one of the best directors. Though he did not change anything from Tamil to Telugu, but kept the movie as best as possible. But the first 20 minutes of the movie was boring. Generally Telugu comedy stands far apart in quality when compared to Tamil comedy. So the tamil comedy was outdated. And not only directing the movie, he also acted in the movie as one of the friends.
Photography was top class by Muthaiah. The wide angle scenes were just awesome.
3) Ravi Teja has already proved Talent never fails. As usually he did absolutely well and gave us a break from his recent routine KICK action. The role was played by Sasi Kumar in Tamil, who was the director of Subramaniapuram (Ananthapuram 1980 in Telugu). Samuthirakarani was the villain in Subramaniapuram.
4) Abhinaya played the same role she did in Tamil. She looked beautiful and no doubt can become a good actress. When I said my friends that she is deaf and dumb they all were awestruck and were feeling How the hell can she give such a lip sync and feelings. Our Imported heroines should learn how to give lip sync. When you watch some lengthy scenes in some movies where our imported heroines act..WHOAAAA you feel What the frock she is telling some Hindi dialogue man...
Way to go Abhinaya.
5) Siva Balaji is Ok. Sunil did as usually good. Surya teja was good for the role.
6) Chandra Mohan, Ahuthi Prasad, Kota and Tanikella did an easy job. Mukesh Rushi was Ok.
Hiccups:
1) The first 20 minutes of the movie.
2) Editing was worst and frustrates many a times.
3) Priya Mani tried to over act. The actress in Tamil was very cute and did brilliantly. Roja was not upto the mark.
On the whole,
It was a great relief from routine Telugu movies and worth watching if you value friendship.Though You get negative response from your friends Dont miss to watch the movie. Watch the movie just for NARESH's top class act and the Interval Scene.

OM SHANTI Review by Bharatstudent.com |
Film: OM SHANTI
Rating: 2/5
Banner: Three Angels Studio
Cast: Madhavan, Navadeep, Nikhil, Kajal Agarwal, Aditi Sharma, Bindu Madhavi, Murali Mohan, Ravi Kale, Sunil, Pragathi, Raghu Babu, Siva Reddy and others
Music: Ilayaraja
Cinematography: Jai Vincent
Director: Chaitanya Dantuluri
Producer: Seshu Priyanka Chalasani
Release date: 12/01/2010
Story
A tale of different people, the story is about different characters- Meghana (Kajal) believes in doing everything differently, she always wants variety and the only person who can give her the correct direction in this is RJ Maddy (madhavan), there is Anand (navadeep) who has been trying hard to get married and finally he meets the girl of his dreams Anjali (aditi). Then there is Noori (bindu) whose wedding gets fixed with an army officer and she is waiting for him. But then, there is Noori's brother Baba who is a bomb expert. He gets an assignment from terrorists to make bombs that will blow up Hyderabad. Also, there is Teja (nikhil) whose only aim in life is to become like hero Ravi Teja. All of them have their own stories but at one point their paths cross each other. How does that happen and what are the changes they see in their life forms the rest of the story.
Presentation
The director has come up with a good thought but then he failed to conceive it on the screen in the right manner. The presentation was okay but the narrative was haphazard. The dialogues were good at places, the script was weak and the screenplay was erratic. Background score was a letdown and not much in songs either. Cinematography was good at few places. Editing was okay. Costumes were good, art department was nice. Navadeep did justice to his role, Kajal Agarwal was alright, she looked sexy in one song, Aditi Sharma was neat, Nikhil was vibrant as usual, Bindu Madhavi was brief, Madhavan was a surprise package, he looked good, Murali Mohan was brief, Sunil managed few smiles, Pragathi was regular, the others didn't have much to offer.
Conclusion
Getting too many characters and that too with different backdrops tends to create a discontinuity. The concentration of the audience is diverted and they wont be able to connect the with the story at any point. While the first half goes about with the introduction of the characters and their stories, the second half shows the twists in their lives. The climax was disappointing and confusing. Overall, the film was good in technical values but execution of the plot was very poor. The film will need strong publicity if it has to click at the box office.

Jr.NTR's ADHURS Review : By Greatandhra.com |
Film: Adhurs
Rating: 3/5
Cast: Jr NTR, Nayantara, Sheela, MS Narayana, Brahmanandam, Tanikella Bhrani, RajYA Lakshmi, Raghu Babu etc
Editing: Goutam Raj
Fights: Ram Laxman
Story: Kona Venkat
Music: Devi Sri Prasad
Lyricst: Chandra Bose
Producers: Vamsi Mohan and Kodali Nani
Screenplay, Direction: VV Vinayak
Released On: 13th Jan 2010
The movie ‘Adhurs’ has been in current affairs due to the Telangana agitators and that resulted in huge openings for the movie. It became Herculean task for many fans to get tickets at box office price across the state. Theatres were gushed with film lovers since dawn on ‘Bhogi’ day.
Story:
It’s a story that runs on no suspense but humor. Like in many old movies, the twin brothers get separated at the time of birth. A Brahmin lady loses her child just a few minutes after his birth. The news first comes to the notice of an old woman in the family and she secretly replaces the dead-infant with a healthy baby from adjacent mother who delivers twins.
The adjacent mother leaves the hospital with single child assuming the other one died. Thus one boy grows up in Brahmin family as Chari (Jr NTR) and another grows up at his mother as Narsimha (Jr NTR).
While Chari is orthodox in speech, act and thought..Narasimha is rugged in every way. How these two brothers unite forms the climax. Chandrakala (Nayantara) pairs up with Chari and another cosmo-girl (Sheela) becomes the love interest of Narasimha.
Performances:
Jr NTR lives up to the expectations in everything. He brought many laughs in theaters with his Brahmin character and hilarious characterization. Narasimha part is quite routine. His dances took away the breath of audiences. Especially his steps in ‘pilla na valla kaadu’ received once-mores in theatres. But the costumes part is very weak. Why did he put on jackets in every scene? That’s not understood.
Nayantara is slim and sleek while Sheela looted young hearts with glowing skin and sensuous garments. Nothing more is left for heroines than this to discuss.
Brahmanandam is ok as Bhattu but more is expected from him in last 30 minutes as well. The film would have brought better feel with that. Raghu Babu is good and MS Narayana is better. Tanikella Bharani aptly grooved in Brahmin’s role.
Highlights:
* Kondavalasa (in Amitabh Bachchan get up) as hero in Chakkera Takkuva (Cheeni Kum remake) brought laughs.
* ‘Maa Baava Kallallo Aanandam Choodali’ dialogue of Ananth also brought hilarious attention.
* The change of lyrics from ‘Where is that Panche Kattu, where is that pilaka juttu, where is that niluvu bottu…Chaari’ to ‘where is that panche kattu, where is that paatha bike, where is that old look…Chaari..’ is not good but should be accepted due to Censor reasons.
* VV Vinayak appears in a single frame in the song ‘Sambho Siva Sambho…’and that resulted in loud whistles and shouts in theatres.
* NTR’s dances stood on the top.
* Brahmanandam’s comedy as lover to Nayanatara impresses.
* Bad guy Mahesh Manjrekar also tried to make people laugh to some extent in the role of big Don.
* All songs are good visual treats.
Disappointments:
* Sayaji Shinde’s character is half baked. Audiences didn’t understand if he were a positive or negative character. On a whole, the characterization graph is not complete.
* Climax is trash with senseless weapon theme. No one understood the logic and possibility of such a weapon that appears from air!!!
Analysis:
Well, coming into the analysis part, it’s a ‘King’ kind of narration but action dominated comedy. Audiences got vexed up watching sentiment and violence in this type of story line, but prefer it when blended with loads of comedy. Although attempts are made with the characters like Bhattu (Brahmanandam) and Atma (MS Narayana), the dose isn’t sufficient. The requirement is certainly more.
First half brings an average feel while the second half breezes little better with more comedians. But the climax is predictable and abrupt. That is very well within the expected limits of common audiences. What marred the movie from attaining greater heights is only the weapon-episode and climax part.
On a whole, it’s a treat for movie lovers as NTR appeared on screen after a very long gap.
Bottom Line: Watch it for NTR’s dances and his hilarious Brahminic performance.

Daggupati Rana and Abhishke Bachchan's Bollywood Flick |
Tollywood's rising star Rana Daggubati, grandson of actor-turned-producer D. Rama Naidu and son of producer Suresh Babu, will be the second hero in producer-director Rohan Sippy’s forthcoming Hindi remake of Hollywood’s Traffic, it is confirmed through Rana’s recently launched website on Saturday.
The role was initially offered to Farhan Akhtar and Emraan Hashmi. The film stars Abhishek Bachchan in the lead role. "It is the character of a Goan musician. When Rohan saw Rana’s picture, he was impressed by how Goan the Telugu actor looked. The Sippys saw Rana’s Leader and knew he was right. The role is as powerful as Abhishek’s," a source said.
Rana would now be another South Indian actor trying his luck in Hindi films after the likes of Kamal Haasan, Rajinikanth, Chiranjeevi and Rana’s uncle Venkatesh. Interestingly, Rana would be the second South Indian star to make his debut in Hindi in 2010. Ram Gopal Varma is launching Tamil actor Suriya in Rakta Charitra.
