Story
A typical family treat, the story begins with Subbalakashmi (Poonam) who is in love with Babu and as expected her marriage gets fixed with someone else. This is arranged by Subbalakshmi's father Neelakanta (Prakashraj) without knowing his daughter's feelings. As expected, she elopes with her lover right on the day of the marriage much to the embarrassment of Neelakanta. Now, he starts his hunt for the two and in this process that they have been helped by local boys of the village and also a few from the city. One among the city happens to be Krishna (Allu Arjun) who is basically a street smart guy but with no activity or career to pursue. Neelakanta and his men manage to kidnap Krishna and the other friends involved in the eloping mission (Sunil, Srinivas Reddy, Chitram Seenu) and all of them are brought to the village. They are accommodated at an out house of sorts which is next to Neelakanta's house and he promises to release them all once the love birds are located. Neelakanta sets out on his search and meanwhile Krishna is smitten by Meena's (Sheila) charms. He is busy trying to woo her and finally manages to win her heart. Much to his dismay, he discovers that she is none other than Neelakanta's second daughter. What happens from here forms the rest of the story.
The director has come across with a clean subject about love and the clash of ideology between the elders and the younger generation again. His narration is good and has come up with a mature presentation of the subject. He has been well supported by some good background score and the cinematography captured the emotions correctly. The script is soft and the screenplay is technically good. All other departments have done a standard job. Allu Arjun has come up in a very different shade this time and it is more of his acting skills that are put to test than anything else, Sheila has come in a deglamorised role and yet again it is the acting quotient that has to be considered, Poonam Bajwa is pretty but her role is limited. The real stunner with a powerhouse performance is Prakashraj who portrays the anguish of a girl's father in a perfect way. Full marks to him, the others like Sunil, Srinivas Reddy came out with decent performances and got some tickles and the rest of the cast have done upto the mark performances.
The technical values, the subject and other aspects are fine but the question of truth is will the audience have the heart to digest Allu Arjun as a character actor than an action packed mass character. This is a conflicting revelation to the audience who goes in with some real fire and end up tasting water. The only chance to bring the film out of crisis would be if the movie works like a slow poison like Bhaskar's 'Bommarillu'. The movie will not appeal to the hot blooded youth in any way and will find its place in the hearts of girls' fathers. There are points in the movie which have given a confusing stand as to who is the real hero, Arjun or Prakashraj. It is very hard for the movie to sustain commercially but will please the class audience.

Story:
Many love stories hit the Telugu screen in the past and the trend continued at present and would also be there in future, because love is an eternal fresh subject. Debut director Sriram scripted a love story which is different from routine. Normally, love stories with college backdrop would have a quarrel between the hero and heroine in one or two scenes and they unite later, the story takes a twist with either elders or some villain intervening in their love affair. In this film, the heroine loses her heart and the hero continued to refuse her love till the climax. It is like a parody to Sukumar's film 'Arya' with Allu Arjun as hero, in which the director coined the slogan 'feel my love'.
Siddhu (Paramesh) never believes in love. For him, girls love boys only if he is rich and could take them around to hotels, pubs and films. After his purse turns empty, they don't even look at him. Gita (Sindhu Tulani) is a down to earth girl. She believes in fate and had a strong feel that nothing can stop if something has to reach us. Once Siddhu saves Gita when she met with an accident by donating blood.
However, Gita doesn't know him as she was unconscious. However, she feels that there was some attachment with him as God doesn't send him to save her. After some time, Gita meets Siddhu and loses her heart totally. Both of them become good friends as their mindset was quite similar. On Valentine's day, Gita proposes to Siddhu. Being a person, who never believes in love, Siddhu refuses her. But with the help of Siddhu's father (Naresh), Gita tries to come close to him and tries to impress him in several ways but fails. In order to put a full stop to her advances, Siddhu brings a girl saying he is going to marry her. Even after their engagement, Gita keeps moving around him. When a goon makes a murder attempt, Gita saves Siddhu and the latter serves her in the hospital, making everyone believe that he is loving her. Did Siddhu really love her? Did Gita was able to marry her? What makes him to realise that love is for each other and not exclusively for men? Answers to all these questions form part of the climax.
Sindhu Tulani excelled in her performance. She had got a lot of chance to perform in this film and she utilised the opportunity well. She gave the impression of a girl in the next door in traditional dresses and also looked gorgeous in modern outfits. She showed different emotions like childish, romantic, loving and good at sentiment scenes too.
Paramesh, though a novice, showed some ease in dances, but he needs to improve his glamour. He needs to improve a lot in his body language.
Naresh also gave a very good performance as a person who is young at heart. Though appeared in a couple of scenes in the climax, Nagababu showed a matured performance. Comedy by Brahmanandam, Chitram Sreenu, and Ali is average.
Music by RP Patnayak is just okay though a couple of songs were melodious. The item song 'Olammo... Ori Nayano...' shot on Mumaith Khan was remixed from an old Telugu hit song.
But for Sindhu Tulani there is nothing great to talk about the movie. Vasu's cinematography is okay in capturing the beauty of foreign locales and in showing the heroine slim in some scenes. Production values of Viswa Sai Arts are good.

DASAVATHAARAM IS THE COSTLIEST OF ALL INDIAN MOVIES |
Kamal Haasan starrer Dasavatharam has overshot its Rs.1.3 billion budget and becomes the costliest Indian film to be ever made, said sources.
"Friday's much hyped trip of Jackie Chan to Chennai on a chartered flight had cost Rs.100 million to the producer and has added to the total cost that has now gone beyond Rs.1.4 billion, said sources close to producer "Oscar" Ravichandran."
The producer, however, is not said to be complaining.
"Since top stars from Bollywood, Amitabh Bachchan, Hema Malini and Mallika Sherawat were present, the worldwide publicity generated has contributed more to the movie's Hindi release than what we actually ended up spending," the source added.
Unfortunately, there was chaos at the film's audio launch function last week in Chennai. Dozens of people, including journalists, were injured when police cane-charged frenzied crowds at the star-studded event.
"Any news is good news. Despite spending all this money, there were no pictures of our shy producer Ravichandran. And there is no mention of his apologising to anyone anywhere," said a publicist associated with the film, referring to the mismanagement of the audio release function.
