TABU AS RAPE VICTIM

Tabu will soon be acting as a rape victim in one of her coming projects. It is almost confirmed by producer Surya Narayana on Wednesday and also disclosed that Tabu will be doing the lead role in this film.

Malle Prakash, who is an art film director, will be directing this film and on Wednesday in après meet has disclosed the news that they have successfully roped in Tabu into their message oriented film. Actually this role was proposed to Ramyakrishna, but due to some reason she could not do this role. But Tabu has agreed to do the role for a remuneration of 62 lakhs.

The story will be like an educated woman who is from a village background marries an NRI and goes to USA. There the husband maintains illicit relationship with his colleague and deserts his wife. Unfortunately the woman’s brother in law repeatedly rapes her for 1 week and then the lady seeks the help of the cops after a struggle and escape from her house. The gist of the story is that the women who are married to NRI’s are not happy with their marriage lives and unable to disclose the same to their family members seek suicide as the last resort. But the twist is that Tabu is well supported by an Indian human rights administrator who later on remarries her in this film.

VISHNU VARDAN AND MOHAN BABU IN YVS' "SALEEM"

Y.V.S. Chowdary is getting ready to direct Vishnuvardhan Babu after shelving his project with Ram. Y.V.S. Chowdary will direct Vishnu under Mohan Babu’s production house, Lakshmi Prasanna Pictures. .YVS Choudary is gearing up for his next film to be titled as 'Saleem'- and the tag line goes as Dhummu Reputhadu. Hero Vishnu will play the title role and Mohan Babu is going to play the main Villain role.

Y.V.S. Chowdary is recovering after his debacle with Balakrishna in Okka Magadu. Vishnuvardhan Babu, Mohan Babu's son, has proved his market worth with his previous performances.

The regular shoot of the film will begin from August.

PAWAN TO BEGIN HIS DREAM PROJECT

Power star Pawan Kalyan who is currently busy with the making of his film 'Puli' has not stopped at that and now he has chalked up plans to start off with his dream project 'Satyagrahi' which has been close to his heart since quite a while. The film was originally planned to be produced by A.M. Rathnam. But he is now neck-deep in financial troubles. So Nookarapu has selected Pawan to act as well as direct the film.

Pawan is keen to direct the film since the subject is close to his heart. The script is 75 percent ready. Pawan is now giving finishing touches to the script. If all goes as per plan, then the film will hit the floors early next year.
