NAGA CHAITANYA'S FILM IS "DEV"

All the attention now is on the debut film of Nagarjuna's son Naga Chaitanya. He was supposed to make his debut last year but as Puri was busy with introducing Chiranjeevi's son Ram Charan, Nagarjuna decided to wait for some more time.

This year Nagarjuna expected to take up his son's project. But Puri is committed to doing a film with Ravi Teja and after that he will do a big film for Soundarya Rajnikanth with Mahesh Babu in the lead role.

That makes Puri busy till the second half of 2009. So Nagarjuna has decided to go ahead and give a chance to a new director to make the debut film of his son.

Annapoorna Studios have registered the title 'Dev'. It is not clear if the title is for Naga Chaitanya's debut film. But Nagarjuna is determined to launch his son into Tollywood this year as per close sources.

PARVATHI MELTON AND HER LOVE LIFE

Parvati Melton is the hot lady in Tollywood now and ever since she paired up with Pawan Kalyan in Jalsa and dominated Ileana in oomph factor she started bagging bigger image. It is sure that many young folks in film industry have proposed her looking at her glamour and suave western style. When asked about her love life, she said that she can reveal his name only when her film with full length heroine role becomes a hit. So that is a big puzzle for producers and directors now. Someone has to make a hit film with her in full length role. She said that she had affinity for that guy ever since she landed in India. It seems that he protected her by all means from the beginning of her career. It is known that she is getting only second heroine roles so far. She expressed her goal to be a hit solo heroine soon. Let us wish her all the best and wait until she reveals her lover's name.

PRIYAMANI SHARES SCREEN WITH AISHWARYA IN TWO FILMS

Currently Priyamani is ruling the roost with the nation-wide recognition after winning the national award for the best actress category, for her fabulous performance in the Tamil film 'Paruthiveeran'. She has now grabbed the opportunity to be the part of Maniratnam's latest venture that is to be made both in Hindi and Tamil simultaneously. While Abhishek plays the lead man in Hindi and Vikram in Tamil and Aishwarya Rai plays the female lead in both the versions. Priyamani enacts the role of second heroine pairing with Prithviraj, who is said to be playing the negative shade. This project will commence in September. AR Rahman will compose music and PC Sriram for the cinematography.

Out of the blue, Priyamani gets a telegram from director Shankar. The telegram congratulates her for winning the National award for best actress for Paruthiveeran, and praises her performance in it. Now comes the interesting part - at the end of the mail - Shankar signs off suggesting they should meet.

Industry insiders are reading this as an offer to play an important character in Robot.
