POKIRI - 2 BUDGET - 60 CRORES TRILINGUAL FILM

Superstar Rajnikanth's daughter Soundarya is now running her own studio, Ocher Studios. She is making an animation film based on her father Rajnikanth. The film titled 'Sulthan the Warrior' is now in an advanced stage.

Soundarya is now keen to make regular films in Kollywood as well as Tollywood. She has signed up Ajit for a Tamil film. She has now entered into an agreement with Warner Brothers to produce a series of films in Telugu.

Soundarya will make her debut in Tollywood with a film starring Mahesh Babu as hero. Puri Jagannath will direct this film. The film will be a sequel to the blockbuster movie Pokiri. It is a known news and the reports say that the budget for this tri-lingual film will be around 60 crore. That shows it's more expensive than Rajni Kanth's 'Sivaji' and 'Dasavataram'.

MALLEPUVVU IS A FREE ADAPTION OF AN IRANIAN FILM

V Samudra is directing a film Mallepuvvu with Bhoomika Chawla in the lead role. The film is said to be a free adaptation of Iranian film.

As for the filmnagar sources, Bhoomika is playing male role in the first of this film. The film's shoot was launched recently and shoot is progressing at RFC.

SAIRAM SHANKAR FOR "NENINTHE" ?

Poori Jagannath announced long back that his next film would be Neninthe with Raviteja on Vaishno Academy banner.

Poori who made Ravi Teja a star hero of Tollywood with idiot film tried to make his brother Sairam Shankar a hero. But efforts were futile.

On the other hand, Poori is putting all his efforts to give a hit for his brother Sairam Shnakr as hero. Poori is working day and night on the script ‘Cachchipothe’. This film will be made with Sairam Shankar as hero. Poori himself will direct this film on Vaishno Academy banner.
