Name: 'Vahini' Kumari.

Birth Name: Naga Raja Kumari.

Native Place: Tenali.

Parents: Father: Venkateswara Rao, Mother: Ramamani.

KUMARI WITH S V RANGA RAO IN 'PEMPUDU KODUKU'

Film Carrier: 'Dasaavataaraalu' is her first film. In this film she played 3 characters (lakshmi, sitha, yasidhara).Her second film was 'Amma' (1939).
In 1940 she entered 'Vahini' pictures. 'Sumangali', 'Devatha' were her hit pictures, in 'vahini' pictures. Then she well known as 'Vahini' Kumari. After a long gap (5 years) she played 'Antumbai' character in 'Mugguru Marateelu'. Anjali devi, pushpavalli were her friends. In 'Vahini's 'Malleswari', she played 'Tirumala Devi' character. After Malleswari she acted in only 3 movies. Chinna kodalu (1952), Pempudu Koduku (1953), Kalahasthi Mahathyam (1954).

KUMARI WITH MALATHI IN 'SUMANGALI'

Family life: She married to Sri Bhashyakarlu Garu. They have a son named Gangadhar. After Gangadhar's studying they settled in Vijayawada.
