Story: Purushottam (Arjun) is a handsome, both mentally and physically, cameraman at Qtv. Chowdary (Raghuvaran) is the CM of the state. He believes that his CM chair has four legs (namely money lenders, caste, gross root workers of the party and students). In order to pacify all these groups, he has to make lots of compromises in his administration. There by his indecisiveness leads to riots and discontent among the people. Purushottam spots the village belle Chandramukhi (Manisha Koirala) and duly falls in love with her. But father of the Chandramukhi wants his daughter to marry a govt. employee than a TV cameraman. As he is a cameraman, Purushottam cans all these riots and rescues the people. As Purushottam report on the riots become popular, he is given promotion as a senior reporter. And his first assignment turns out to be an interview with the CM of the state, Chowdary. In that spirited interview Purushottam questions the CM's non-transparent functionality. When CM refutes back that Purushottam is misusing media to malign him, Purushottam shows all the evidence. A piqued CM he is, Chowdary challenges Purushottam to act as CM for a day. Only then one can understand the immense pressure of being CM. After much deliberation Purushottam accepts the offer. Chowdary passes an ordinance to make Purushottam CM for a day by giving his resignation letter and the letter of support by his MLA's. Purushottam starts his day as CM with having a meeting with civil servants (IAS and IPS). He instructs all the officers to dig out all the files on corrupt officials and he duly suspends all of them on the spot. He gives surprise inspections to various places (slums, ration shops etc.) and solves the problems instantly. He organizes a live tele conference with the people of state and solve their problems on the spot. By the end of the he makes the 12 ministers of Chowdary get arrested. The icing on the cake turn out to be the arrest of Chowdary itself at the dusk of the day. As the media covers all the movements of Purushottam and broadcasts live on all the channels, Purushottam becomes the icon of god governance and a ray of hope to the people. Incidentally Chowdary's decision to play the ball into Purushottam's hand turns out to be a blunder and the closure of Chowdary's political career. After Chowdary resumes power as CM, he gets dumped as a no-confidence motion is passed. Fresh elections are announced. Muddu Krishna (Manivannan) is a secretary to CM. He plays a vital role in bringing Purushottam, who otherwise is reluctant, into the active politics by making him realize the importance of being a constructive politician. Purushottam's party wins all the seats in the state. After getting elected Purushottam implements innovative ideas. Chowdary and other leaders start cooking up ideas to assassinate Purushottam. Story: A girl is dragging a treasure box in a hilly area only to get caught by a villain gang that is armed with a captor, a jeep, a couple of horses and of course guns. As that gal is screaming for help, our hero makes his entrance in a grand scale appearing in Zorro attire. After a few fights and stunts like riding standing( a la ajay devagan) on a couple of bikes that are self operated, you start thinking why so much hungamma is happening about Hero introduction. Suddenly the gal's box burst and the 'Pepsi' bottles pop out. Hero sips Pepsi chivalrously! Yehi hai right choice baby!! Yup! Its an ad shooting for 'Pepsi'. Raj Kumar (Mahesh) is doing modeling along with his graduation at Bombay. After seeing the ad shooting Bombay ad producers queues up for him. And then Raj Kumar chooses to sing 'Bollywood BalaRajuni'. After the intro song Raj Kumar go to his uncle's Hotel in Khandala for the vacation along with his friends. Raj Kumar and his uncle start talking with swords. During their conversation, we realize that Raj Kumar and his uncle, Dhanunjay (Prakash Raj) are like close buddies. Raj Kumar has no parents and Dhanunjay has no other relatives. Then they show a bus coming to that hotel with a banner of 'Kothi Women College, Hyderabad' on it. You guessed it right! Rani (Priety Zinta) is the last one to get down from the bus, as we eagerly wait for the introduction of the heroine. Raj Kumar falls in love with Rani at first sight. Raj Kumar starts unabashedly teasing Rani and causes hatred in her. At the same time, Raj Kumar appears in a cowboy dress on a hill area with a horse, whip and sword and plays his guitar and do some feats to attract Rani. Rani drops her pallu which will fly and fall in the hands of Raj Kumar. Rani starts loving that cowboy. Again you are right. Rani does not know that the cowboy is Raj Kumar himself. As we start wondering how long Rajkumar does his double play with Rani, a team of cops consisting of Brahmanandam, MS Narayana and Asrani come to Khandala to catch a guy who did 10 rapes. Enter the cops .. the age old comedy of constable teasing SI begins ( a la 420, JVAS, Hello Brother ... ). The rapist, whom these cops are searching, kidnaps Rani right under the nose of Brahmanandam. Begins the chase. Rapist and Rani in a maruti van, Cops on a typical Andhra police jeep and Rajkumar on a bike. Some how rapist fools Cops, but not Rajkumar. As the rapist got the steering out of his hand. Van starts running like a wild horse dumping rapist and Rani out of it and then jumping into a deep valley of Khandala. Rani is hanging to the cliff and rapist holding her wrist ( a la pawan kalyan and kirthi in toli prema). Rani relents as rapist asks her to choose between 'mancham ekkadam' and 'paade ekkadam' ( dialogues by Paruchuri). Meantime our Raj Kumar stops his bike and changes his attire to cowboy though his Rani is fighting out with rapist and doing cliff hanging. When Rani is on the verge of falling from the cliff, our cowboy enters there scene to rescue her and he also takes precaution not to show his face to her. Rani is thrilled to see his cowboy flame thrashing the rapist in different styles. After the fight is over, Raj Kumar shows mercy on Rani by closing the curtains down by revealing his identity. Raja and Rani confirm their love duly followed by a song. During that evening while doing sword talking with Dhanunjay, Raja reveals his love for Rani. Suddenly Dhanunjay gets disappointed and tells Raja not to love any gal, as he has somebody in his mind. Dhanunjay puts some sentimental dialogues to make Raj Kumar reject Rani. A tear some Rani verbally thrashes Dhanunjay before boarding her bus back to 'Kothi College'. Raj Kumar and Dhanunjay boards train to AP. Prakash Raj starts telling the flashback. There is a feudal system in Rangapuram. Thyagamurthy (Krishna) is a landlord of 60 acres. So is the Sarvarayudu (Jaya Prakash). Being a kind hearted person Thyagamurthy donates all his land to the farmers who are working for him. Dhanunjay's sister is married to Thyagamurthy. Dhanunjay is married to the Sumalatha, sister of Sarvarayudu. Thyagamurty is making all farmers enlightened about the exploitation by Sarvarayudu. As Sarvarayudu does not like his farmers to know about his exploitation kills Thyagamurthy and his wife. Dhanunjay picks the kid (Raj Kumar) of Thyagamurthy and takes him back to his house (residence of Sarvarayudu). Sarvarayudu rejects to accommodate son of Thyagamurthy in his house. An infuriated Dhanunjay decides to leave that house and stay on his own. Sumalatha refuses to join his hubby and she prefers to stay with her brothers ( Sarvarayudu and Bro.). Being an insulted man, Dhanunjay challenges that he will get Raj Kumar married to his daughter (who is with Sumalatha now), leaves for Khandala along with Raj Kumar to become a grand hotelier. By the time flash back is over Raj Kumar and Dhanunjay are full of tears. Raj Kumar promises Dhanunjay that he will marry his sis-in-law and duly drops the pallu presented by Rani through the window of train (It will fly and get stuck to a red signal light, that's different matter). Enter Rangapuram. Raj Kumar and Dhanunjay wants to see Sumalatha. They know that Sarvarayudu family is visiting temple that evening. Dhanunjay and Raj Kumar visit temple to see Sumalatha and her daughter. This time too you shot the bull's eye. The daughter of Sumalatha is none but Rani. These guys make sure that they are not seen by those women. Kids in Sarvarayudu family are watching 'Shaktiman' in the TV. Sumalatha forces to put the TV off. And one of the kid start telling that 'Shaktiman' will come now. Raj Kumar appears in Zorro dress. He fools around with all the family members by running around with a sword and then slips in Rani's bed room. After much dilly dallying they reach basement. Raj Kumar and Rani starts fighting with swords and Raj starts kissing her in between the fights and finally manages to disrobe her with a few quick movements by his sword (Remember the Mask of Zorro). Then he reveals his identity to brighten the redden face of Rani. Raj Kumar, Rani and Dhanunjay meet at a place. Rani reveals that she got engaged to SriHari and her marriage is in offing. Srihari wins 'KarraSaamu' contest. After a few minutes Raj Kumar enters the scene to fool around with SriHari ( a la bavagaru bagunnara). Raj Kumar and Dhanunjay shows a photograph of Rani with Raj (Raj's face is blackened) and convinces Raj Kumar that Rani character might not be good. Then SriHari agrees to make Raj Kumar enter as a London friend of him at Rani's house ( a la DDLJ). Now the stage is set for the climax. How does Raj Kumar gets Rani from the clutches of Sarvarayudu? How does Sumalatha realizes the importance of her hubby Dhanunjay? Will Survarayudu tolerate the cheating of Raj Kumar? Well, guys, you gotta watch it on the silver screen!!

Sultan (1999)

Story: Titles start with a TV news reader reading out the atrocities done by sultan in the country. Soon after titles focus shift to CBCID head quarters where Sekhar (Krishna) is given the task of nabbing Sultan. Sekhar is patrolling a place where he finds an old Muslim with a broken down bike asking him for a help. He ignores him and later on old Musalman use that bike to assassin a politician. Sekhar waste no time to realize that the old Muslim is none but Sultan. Then the chase begins. There is a ferocious dialogue exchange between them that lead to a fight. At the end of the fight Sultan escape from Sekhar. Prithvi is doing patrolling in the forest with his subordinate brahnandam. Prithvi find a deer dead shot by Rachana and her bava. Rachana is caught as her bava give Prithvi a slip. After a little bit of kutchi kooing they fall in love and end up in marriage. Sultan is a very rough and unkind. Unlike other husbands he rapes his wife (Roja) while making love. He has a mistress, Deepti. Meantime, Sekhar is busy tracing Sultan. At a super market he finds Prithvi and Rachana and arrests Prithvi on the spot. Sekhar keeps Prithvi at an unidentified place and harasses him to reveal the secrets. Prithvi is clueless about why he is getting beaten up. Rachana raises the issue of her hubby disappearing with mahila shangha's and shake the assembly with dharna. Government transfers the case from CBCID to CID. Mustafa is a CID officer. The day he was put on the mission, Mustafa gets a rude shock in the form of bomb from Sultan that he manages to escape. Sultan does in a style by asking him for light before bombing him. Thereby Mustafa gets confident that Prithvi and Sultan are two different persons. Meantime, Sekhar is having a gala time torturing the poor chap Prithvi. Mustafa fly down to Hyderabad to meet Sekhar and try to convince Sultan and Prithvi are lookalikes. Prithvi's mother confesses in police station that Prithvi is the only son and she does not have any twin. Later on Sekhar and Mustafa(SM) finds out that Prithvi's mother adapted prithvi from the mother of Sultan for a paltry sum of Rs 1000/-. Now SM finds a strategy to nab Sultan by using Prithvi as a weapon. They take him to Andaman Island. Poor Prithvi is unaware that these guys(SM) know the truth and are still making him a captive. Prithvi tries to escape from the captivity of SM only to be caught by SM in the middle of the sea. SM tells Prithvi the history and asks him to help them out in the mission. Then Prithvi rebels by asking them why should he help them out? Then Desa Bhakti song follows and end of it SM forms SMP. Now Pritvi is ready for the mission with the help of training by SM on combating tactics. Meantime Rachana spots Sultan and mistakes him for Prithvi. SMP starts their mission with tracing Deepti Bhatnagar, who later dies taking suicide pill. Prithvi seduces her to get the whereabouts of Sultan. Prithvi explores sultan house. In no time Sultan realizes that some this is amiss. He immediately contacts his mom and asks her to come out clean about his birth. After knowing that prithvi is his brother and then realizing the torture he made on his wife and mom, he send Roja with a suitcase with all the gold biscuits and stuff to SMP that he is ready to surrender. As expected by us, Suitcase turns out to be nothing but a bomb. Mustafa avoids it by throwing the suitcase out. Later on with the help of Roja SPM starts searching Sultan hideouts. In this process Ravi Babu (Right hand of Sultan) kills Roja and Mustafa before getting himself killed. Prithvi tastes his own medicine when Sultan go to Prithvi's home and takes Rachana out to his Den. Climax is all set now with SP gets a threatening call by Sultan to surrender themselves and give him one million dollars as the ransom. Sultan also warns that he is going to bomb all the MLA's and MP's in India if one million dollars are not given to him. During the climax Sultan realizes that foreign militants used him as the pawn in the destruction process of India. So the focus shifts to two of the foreign militants that are present at the climax scene, luckily. We have PS fighting tirelessly with militants, as Sultan is busy with making the missiles targeted on all cites futile. Surprise of the climax is that Sultan mother stabs Sultan, as she was not aware that Sultan is a changed man now. After a climax of 15 minutes audiences get a breather as Prithvi and Sekhar remains unconquered.
