Datha Venkata Narasaraju
born on 15th July in 1920 in mUthyalampadu (Krishna district). His play ‘Natakam’ was screened in 1951 during the 100 days function of Pathala Bhairavi film. After watching that play KV Reddy invited Narasaraju to film industry. He worked for Peddamanushulu film in 1954. He worked for 92 films which includes blockbusters like Donga Ramudu, Raja Makutam, Gundamma Katha, Bhakta Prahlada, Rangula Ratnam, Ramu, Yama Gola and Manasu Mamata. He also directed a film titled Karu Diddina Kapuram. He played a character in Chevilo Puvvu film. He recently contributed to the script work of Maya Bazaar (Raja, Bhumika). Popular writer DV Narasaraju is a synonym to the exact cinema script. He was able to run the story in a less time with a number of characters. Moreover he is a king of decent comedy. These are rich tributes to the departed soul of Narasaraju at a meeting held at Film Chamber in Hyderabad.

Balaiah says, 'I have 25 years of friendship with Narasaraju. He is the story writer to all my five films that were produced by me. He is very accurate in every aspect and gives much preference to comedy.'

Producer Ramanaidu says, 'It is Narasaraju who gave story for 'Ramudu-Bheemudu' the first film on our banner. Later, our relationship improved a lot. He worked for several of the films produced on our banner. Not only he could give a good story and dialogues but also he is a kind hearted and always thinks about the welfare of producers.'
