Ramya Krishna born on September 15th, 1967 in Chennai is a marvelous hot South Indian versatile actress. Ramya Krishna, the hot sexy actress has won several honors and accolades for her histrionic talents. She also won couple of Nandi awards instituted by the Government of Andhra Pradesh and a national award. Ramya Krishna is also spelt as Ramya Krishnan.

Ramya Krishna who learnt classical dance forms, Bharathanatyam and Kuchipudi began her acting career at the age of 13. Her first movie was 'Vellai Manasu' a Tamil movie starring opposite Y G Mahendran. Six years later hot Ramya Krishna became a full-fledged actress with her first Telugu movie 'Bhale Mithrulu' directed by Mohan Gandhi. Since then Ramya Krishna never looked back and became the most sought after actress in South Indian movies.

Ramya Krishna has acted in over 200 films in all South Indian languages besides acting in a few Bollywood movies. Ramya Krishna, a beautiful actress showed her range and versatility in acting. Her roles traversed from romancing with heroes to revenge seeking girl to wronged sobbing wife to several comical roles. Ramya Krishna literally lived the roles she essayed with ease and aplomb. Her own chat show "Zara Masti Zara Dhoom" on Sun network's Gemini TV has become quite popular with television viewers. "Zara Masti Zara Dhoom" is all about how Ramya Krishna delves into the lives of film celebrities and brings them closer to their fans. The show is produced by her own company, named after her son Ritwik.

Ramya Krishna has married renowned director Krishna Vamsi in 2003 and the couple together has a son named Ritwik born February 13th, 2005.
