UDAY KIRAN PROFILE

Uday Kiran (born June 26, 1980) is an Indian Film Actor from the state of Andhra Pradesh. He has acted in telugu and tamil films.

Career
Uday Kiran is a youthful and boyish actor of Tollywood. Udaykiran was born on June 26th,1980. His father is V.V.K.Murthy, an employee at the Town's airport & his mother Nirmala is a house wife. He has one older sister Sridevi married with two children. He attended local K.V.Picket school and Wesley college for his Education.He joined the film industry in the year 2000 with no backing from any lead actors or producers, which is very uncommon in the current Indian Film Industry.

He has primarily acted in the leading roles of many films of Telugu. Recently he started acting in the Tamil movies, with his first movie under the direction of the famous K. Balachander.
He received the Filmfare Best Actor Award (Telugu) for the year 2001 for the movie Nuvvu Nenu.

Udaykiran is very lucky in the aspect that he made it very big in the industry with in first few films, though he has no backup or support in the industry. With his handsome and choclate looks, he became the heartthrob of the girls.Udaykiran comes from a middle class family. After his graduation, he saw the ad for new actors issued by Ushakiran movies. Though he approached for a small role, he caught a big fish. He ended up as the hero of that film. Cinematographer turned director Teja directed Chitram with Udaykiran in the lead for Ushakiran movies. The movie is an instant winner. With Nuvvu Nenu, his second film and also second venture with Teja, he delivered another hit. Manasantha Nuvve followed. It created records at the box office. The critics, who wrote him off as a one movie man, had to rewrite him as a hatrick hero. He improved his histrionics and dialogue delivery at an applaudable rate, as his career progressed.V.N.Aditya, who delivered a great hit in the form of Manastha Nuvve, attempted a remake with Udaykiran. But the attempt failed. However, the movie portrayed Udaykiran in a new image, the Macho Man. Udaykiran is an ardent fan of Chiranjeevi and takes him as his inspiration.
