First Film as Heroin: Illalu in 1940 with Saluru Rajeswara Rao.
First Playback: Bhagya Lakshmi in 1943.
Married Life: Venkatagiri Raja's 4th son RajaRao Pradyumna Krishna Mahipathi Suryarao Bahadhoor proposed her to marry, and married 1944. She was second wife to Raja. She got two sons Venkata Raja Gopalakrishna Suryarao and Venkata Gopalakrishna Mahipathi Suryarao.

Ravu Balasaraswathi was a hot favourite for yester year music lovers and her soothing voice is cherished by many even today.
