Remake Sentiment for 'Homam' Kirankumar

Koneru Kiran Kumar who recently produced hit movie Homam with Jagapathi Babu and JD Chakravarthy in the lead roles is now getting ready to produce another movie. While Homam is remade from english film The Departed, Kiran Kumar this time is going to re-make the recent hit hindi film A Wednesday in telugu.

‘A Wednesday’ is a bollywood blockbuster with
Anupam Kher and Naseeruddin Shah in lead roles. The movie which was critically acclaimed and enjoyed by the audience made a clean sweep in the charts.

Kirankumar Koneru who is going to produce the film in Telugu on Shreya Productions banner, earlier venture was ‘Homam’ casting Jagapathi Babu, in JD Chakravarthy’s direction. It could be the movie’s success or sentimental issues the producer has signed up JD Chakravarthy once again to direct the remake of ‘A Wednesday’.

Kiran Kumar Koneru recently bought the remake rights of A Wednesday from UTV. The cast and crew for the telugu film are yet to be announced. Kiran is right now producing another movie titled Moksha with Jagapathi Babu in the lead role while JD Chakravarthy is directing it.
