Biography:

Meghna Naidu a telugu girl, born and bought up in Vijayawada. Modelling profession took her to Mumbai, where she happened to do Kaliyon Ka Chaman video. And with this songs she climb the ladders of popularity.

She had done few films earlier in telugu, where she played the role of a nun and another one is a role of a leprosy affected women. Now she is into bollywood with her glamorous roles.

Meghna’s debut film is Karan Razdan’s Hawas in which she plays a wife who is tormented by the lack of passion in her married life and therefore goes into an extra marital relationship.

Meghna’s second film will also be something of a similar kind. The movie titled Husn will have Meghna playing a shady character who becomes rich overnight by manipulating people by using her sexuality. She plays the wife of an aged man played by Gulshan Grover. Coincidentally, Husn will also star her Hawas co-star Shahwar Ali . The movie is directed by Ajeet Sinha and is produced by Faraha Sultan Ahmed.

She is mostly seen in sizzling item numbers in Bollywood movies and she is the most favored south Indian actress. Her other item number is Nasha Le Le Tu Dil in AK 47 directed by Raam Shetty. Yin this number, this voluptuous diva has donned up a dusky Arabic look while rest of the dancers sport an Egyptian look. The song is sung by Sunidhi Chauhan and the music is composed by Sajid Wajid.

Hawas director Karan Razdan was impressed by her roles and signed her for his new film Eight (2006) where she was seen opposite to newcomer Raj Tara. The movie also featured Padmini Kolhapure and Gulshan Grover.

Apart from these, she has even opened up to take part in Telugu and Malayalam films including a film named Chandrika. Some of her upcoming movies are Ishq Deewana Rivaaz (2008), Rivaaz (2008), and Maqsad (2008).

Meghna Naidu is bold enough to say that she doesn’t feel shy off her clothes in front of 20 or 30 unit members, she continued that she has no problems if she has to go nude and she won’t hesitate to shed all her clothes in front of the camera if the story really demands.

It was reported that some youngsters were peeping through the curtains of green room while she was applying make-up and dressing herself for next shot. She immediately complained to the manager about it. She claims it to be an embarassing situation as their real life is something different from what they do in movies.

Her father works for Air India and he is also a tennis coach. Her mother was a schoolteacher and left the job to accompany Meghna in shootings and travellings.
She has a sister also who is now settled in abroad.

Her childhood dream was to become an “Air Hostess”.

The actress was a very good tennis player during her childhood days and she was also a tennis coach for 4 years in USA.
