Rao Gopal Rao(January 14, 1937 - August 13, 1994) was a very popular Tollywood actor. He acted in many hit movies with Chiranjeevi in the lead role.

The movie was a smash hit and Rao Gopala Rao never looked back. He was noticed in the movies Sharada, Manchimanushulu but his popularity touched its peak with the movie "Muthyala Muggu" directed by Bapu and produced by Ramana.
