MAA GOKHALE

we heard about Madhava peddi family then we remembered, that was a artists family.In this family Venkataramaiah was a great actor,Satyam was a great singer,Rmesh was a director,ramesh brother was a singer and Maa gokhale was a art director. This family inherited the action,music and art.

Gopala Krishna Gokhale was popularized in the name of Maa Gokhale.Gokhale got honour and brightness to Vijaya samstha.Bhairavi statue,mayamahal miature,garden set,kings fort in maya bazaar and chandraharam sets were stnds for his creative art.He was a great art director.He was born at brahmana kodur ,near Tenali.In child hood he learn art from Gurram Mallaiah,then he studied at National school of arts in bunder.He was also wrote stories to Bharati and Andhra jyothi with Kutumba rao’s inspiration.Gokhale came to madras in 1948,as a artist in yuva,Andhra jyothi journals.Gokhale first film was shavukar,1950.Gokhale’s greatest creation was lord Krishna getup in mayabazar.We know that N.T.R how much impressed the telugu people as lord Krishna.Another great creation was Ghatotkacha getup.He had take very care for every minute point and draw a sketch to that,like ear rings,hand rings,hand stick,crown,weapons,ornaments,chariots,cots and seats ,which was used in the sets.

He was guide for all art directors of cine industry.
